# Future Seasons

Season 1 has been our extended foundational phase focused on the WAX blockchain and ecosystem. During this time we established:

* $PXJ and the Pixel Economy/DeFi on WAX
* Pixal PFPs and the Pixel Ingredient system
* Pixel Recycling, blending, and crafting mechanics
* Collectibles and token staking platforms
* PXJ/KING DeFi volume-based burn positions
* NFT/Token holder roles and Discord perks
* First phase of PixelDAO via the WaxRocks Council
* Comprehensive guides for navigating the WAX ecosystem

Many of these mechanics will remain long-term features of the Pixel Journey, even as we expand. We do **not** abandon previous blockchains — their unique tools and systems stay integrated.

Future joiners can always explore earlier phases and chains to complete collections or achieve special feats, while new opportunities open up as we grow.

### Our Approach Going Forward

Rather than rigid yearly seasons, future phases will be milestone-driven and flexible. Each phase focuses on major expansions (new chains, new mechanics, new collectibles) while previous content remains accessible and valuable.

One phase and blockchain focus at a time 👾🛸

You'll see more details and early hints in our Discord as we progress. Things can evolve as we activate more community governance through PixelDAO.

NFA — the journey is always adapting and improving based on what we learn together!
