# PxVault: Automation & Ownership Unlocks

**PxVault** is the secure vaulting layer within PxWallet that serves as the foundation for advanced automation features across the Pixel Journey ecosystem. It goes beyond basic wallet functionality by enabling secure, user-controlled automation that can be progressively unlocked through meaningful ownership and participation in Pixel Journey.

## 🎯 Core Purpose

PxVault exists to solve two critical needs:

1. **Secure Key & Account Management** — Safe generation, storage, and management of private keys and WAX/Antelope accounts, with an ideal flow that minimizes friction for new users.
2. **Automation Foundation** — Providing the secure backend necessary to enable powerful automated strategies (staking, compounding, claiming, resource management, etc.) without compromising user control or security.

This makes PxVault a quintessential part of the Px Packages vision — the secure base layer that allows advanced, ownership-gated automation to exist safely across the ecosystem.

## 🔑 Key Management & Onboarding

PxVault is designed to make getting started on WAX (and eventually other chains) as seamless as possible:

* Easy generation of new private keys with automatic secure storage in the vault.
* Simple import of existing keys/accounts.
* Streamlined account creation flows tied to generated or imported keys.
* Clear visibility and control over all keys and accounts managed within the wallet.

The goal is to reduce the traditional friction of Web3 onboarding while maintaining high security standards.

## ⚙️ Automation Capabilities

One of the most powerful aspects of PxVault is its role as the secure foundation for **automation features** that can be progressively unlocked:

* Automated staking and compounding strategies across different PxStaking scenarios.
* Smart resource management (CPU/NET optimization and power-ups).
* Automated claiming and reinvestment of rewards.
* Conditional automation rules based on market conditions or user-defined thresholds.
* Future multi-chain automation as Px Portals expand.

These automations are not fully open by default. Instead, they are designed to be **unlocked through sufficient Pixel Journey ownership and engagement**. This creates a healthy progression system where deeper automation becomes available to users who have demonstrated meaningful commitment to the ecosystem.

## 🔓 Ownership-Based Unlocks

Advanced automation features in PxVault are expected to be gated behind ownership and achievement criteria, such as:

* Holding a minimum number of Pixal PFPs or specific ecosystem NFTs.
* Maintaining certain staking levels or long-term staking positions.
* Achieving specific milestones in PxHot, PxLearn, or crafting systems.
* Overall engagement and contribution to the Pixel Journey economy.

This approach ensures that powerful automation tools are earned through genuine participation rather than being immediately available to everyone. It rewards users who build real skin in the game while still keeping the core wallet functionality accessible to all.

PxVault does not exist in isolation:

* It is the secure backend that powers advanced features in **PxStaking**, **PxMarket**, and future automation across portals.
* It integrates deeply with **PxWallet** as its most secure and feature-rich mode.
* Ownership unlocks tie directly into the **Achievements** and **Badges** systems.
* Future Px Portals will extend vault and automation capabilities across multiple chains.
