# What is the goal?

Pixel Journey exists to create something meaningful, fun, lasting, and truly educational in Web3. Here’s what we’re aiming for — the vision that has guided us through over **1050 days** since our 2023 WAX launch and Spring 2024 Pixals mint:

* **A welcoming community** where everyone can have fun, connect, and feel at home — no matter where they are on their Web3 journey.
* **Real friendships and collaboration** — meeting new people and building together along this shared adventure.
* **Safe, guided education** — helping newcomers (and experienced explorers) learn about NFTs, crypto, blockchains, tools, and governance in a clear, low-pressure, hands-on way (always with proper DYOR encouragement).
* **Showcasing the best of each ecosystem** — highlighting the amazing (and often surprisingly accessible) features across the chains we journey through, starting with WAX’s powerful NFT and bridging capabilities.
* **Connecting WAX with the wider Web3 world** — building bridges between communities, projects, and opportunities as we expand multi-chain.
* **Elevating pixel art and collectibles** — making JPEGs and pixels more valuable, useful, and enjoyable through mechanics like recycling, crafting, and PxPackages-powered experiences.
* **New opportunities for creators** — giving artists and projects fresh ways to reach engaged audiences through our collections, pixelated themes, and Pixel economy.
* **Great collecting experiences** — helping collectors discover neat, epic, and meaningful things to own, stake, craft, and enjoy.
* **Sustainable, long-term design** — building mechanics and systems that are balanced, stable, and built to stand the test of time (including our flexible milestone-driven Seasons and yearly New Year’s Eve PXJ mint of \~10% remaining supply to dao.pxj / team.pxj / dev.pxj / defi.pxj / craft.pxj pools) — and hopefully inspiring other projects.
* **Preparation for the future** — developing PxPackages as our modular foundation (from late 2025–mid 2026 Alpha miniDApps experimentation to robust shared rebuild) to power future dApps and the standalone PxLearn Portal — the most comprehensive educational hub for Web3 explorers.

**TL;DR:** To Pixel and Journey all the things — together! 🥳👾

We’re not just building a project. We’re building a shared adventure and the best Web3 educational journey material the space has ever seen. Your participation, feedback, and energy make it all possible. Let’s keep pixeling forward! 🚀🧩
