# EVM Chains

**MetaMask and Rabby** are the primary recommendations for EVM chains. They offer broad compatibility, hardware support, and excellent transaction simulation features.

## Primary Recommendations

* **MetaMask** — The most widely used EVM wallet. Excellent network switching and hardware support.
* **Rabby Wallet** — Strong modern alternative with superior security features, transaction simulation, and multi-chain management.

## Other Options

* Coinbase Wallet, Phantom (EVM mode), etc.
* Hardware wallets (Ledger) strongly recommended for larger holdings.

## Getting Started with EVM Wallets

1. Install MetaMask or Rabby.
2. Add the desired network (e.g., Base Chain ID 8453).
3. Import or create an account.
4. Bridge a small amount of ETH/tokens for testing.
5. Enable hardware wallet integration if desired.
6. Start with small test transactions.

## Safety Best Practices

* Always read transaction details before confirming.
* Use hardware wallets for significant assets.
* Regularly review and revoke approvals.
* Never share seed phrases or private keys.
