Current 2026 Ecosystem Reality Check (Important!) The WAX ecosystem has evolved. Some platforms have changed hands or gone quiet. Always DYOR, but here are our current top recommendations based on reliability and active support:
Top Wallet Recommendation: Anchor Wallet (free via AtomicHub onboarding page β highly recommended primary choice right now).
Cloud Wallet Update: Now requires passkeys (Google Passkey Manager etc.). Mobile apps discontinued. Social login/OAuth scrapped. 5 WAX paywall back for some features. Less "cloud" custodial feel β treat it as a solid secondary option.
Marketplace: AtomicHub is currently the top recommended active marketplace.
Avoid or Use Caution: Neftyblocks and Wombat Wallet appear largely inactive/MIA after ownership handovers and lack of maintenance. We cannot highly recommend them at this time β focus on proven active tools instead.
